Information
Description:

A study into the impacts of climate change on the Mississippi Watershed (Ontario's Mississippi river flows from Bon Echo park, emptying into the Ottawa River just upstream from the parliament buildings) and the adaptation measures required to address these impacts. Broken down by sector: Tourism & Recreation; Forestry; Fisheries; Health & Well-being; Agriculture; Ecosystems; Communities and Water. A very accessible and easy to use document. Well suited to supporting student inquiry into climate change at the local level (Mississippi watershed).
