Description:
This module provides teachers with resources and activities to introduce students to the effects of climate change on mountain glaciers. After reading through the scenario and using the additional resources provided, students complete investigations to further their understanding and make predictions about the future of mountian glaciers. All of the investigations and their difficulty level are listed below. They can be downloaded in full from the 'Mountain Glaciers Module' link.
The NASA Global Climate Change Education/Earth Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) modules include situations, connections to standards, resources and sample investigations. Unless labeled K-4 the modules can be adapted for middle and high school students.
