In this video Jane Poynter tells her story of living two years and 20 minutes in Biosphere 2 -- an experience that provoked her to explore how we might sustain life in the harshest of environments -- through this video one learns about the necessary components of a biosphere and the need to constantly keep the millions of elements within it in balance, mirorring the situation occuring in Biosphere 1 (Earth)!



Jane goes on to disscuss the ways in which man-made biospheres can be beneficial to us in the future and introducdes a number of new technologies that were developed in Biosphere 2 that will help us to live in more hostile environments.
