Description:
In this video, Cary Fowler disscusses the ways in which the varieties of wheat, corn and rice we grow today may not thrive in a future threatened by climate change. Bringing forth the idea of sustainability and stressing to his viewers the need for change. Fowler is quite adimit that unless we take control of climate change, our food supply will suffer drastically, potentially to a point where we are simply unable to grow many of our food staples!

Teacher Notes:
This would be an excellent video to show after disscussing Thomas Malthus and his prediction on food sustainability.
This video could be used as one piece of evidence in which students decide whether or not they believe Malthus' predictions will actually occur.
