Adding to: GRUB Lesson 2.2: Analyzing the Pictures
In this lesson, students review the photos they took during GRUB Lesson 4 (Taking Pictures that Illustrate Food Systems Issues) and identify those they consider to be the most interesting and/or meaningful. They then contextualize the photos by adding accompanying captures developed through the SHOWED Process: S - What do we SEE or how do we name this problem? H - What is really HAPPENING? O - How does this story relate to OUR lives? W - WHY does this problem or strength exist? What are the root causes? E - How might we become EMPOWERED now that we better understand the problem? D - What can we DO about it?
