Transit of Venus Collaborative Event
Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime event: a live Global Encounters video conference with schools from around the world! Watch Venus pass between the earth and the sun, explore unique lesson plans, collect and share data, and hear it from the scientists why this is “...by far the noblest [sight] that astronomy affords." The conference will take place June 5th in the Western Hemisphere, June 6th in the Eastern, from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Mountain Standard Time.
