Join cyclists Kristina Stoney and Nic Arney as they ride over 30,000 kilometres around the world with World By Cycle, meeting with communities and exploring the origins of everyday things along the way. Coming to TIGed this March, this adventure learning program for young people will focus on themes of cultural and geographic diversity and environmental protection. Voice, Agency and Democratic Values in the Middle East – Video Conference

High school classes are invited to challenge desensitization and join this exciting Global Encounters video conference to connect with agents of change live from the Middle East. Part 1 of this two-part series will take place on February 22 at 9am MT and Part 2 will take place on March 8 at 9am MT. Space is limited.

COOL2.0 Officially Launches!

TakingITGlobal partnered with GreenLearning Canada to launch COOL 2.0, a new educational tool for issues surrounding Canadian climate change. COOL 2.0 provides classroom resources within the realms of science, social studies, economics, language arts, technology, and more.
