Welcome to TakingITGlobal for Educators!

Watch our video above to explore the programs we offer to help your students understand and act on the world's greatest challenges. We'll help you connect your classroom to the world!

Moments of Inclusion

Calling all art teachers! To kick off the school year, encourage your students to reflect on experience of inclusion. To represent their unique experiences, we invite your students to create and share a form of visual art as part of an online Global Gallery collection! In October, selected images will be printed and exhibited at a Symposium on Overcoming Isolation and Deepening Social Connectedness and Global Dignity Day.

Sign up your classroom to be a part of one of the world’s largest global movement and student-based action project. The DeforestACTION project provides an array of educational resources that help students engage in meaningful, global collaborative problem-solving by exploring the global issue of deforestation. Register today for a Teacher Orientation session Sept 16th 1:30-2:30pm, 3:30-4:30 MT, & Sept 23rd, 3:30 - 4:30 MT) to explore ways to successfully incorporate DeforestACTION into your classroom for the October 13th launch!

Global Dignity Day:

Global Dignity Day honours our interconnectedness and the intrinsic value of each individual. Join thousands of students from schools from around the world and explore how can we move towards ensuring each individual has the right and access to a dignified life.

Global Encounters

Offered by TakingITGlobal and the Centre for Global Education, the Global Encounters program brings together students from across the world through live video conferences that explore global issues and the potential youth have to shape a better common future. These exciting events connect youth to expert guest speakers who share their experiences with students on the topics of human rights, climate change, HIV/AIDS, and more. With lots of events being offered for high school and middle school classes on a variety of global issues, there's sure to be an event for your class. Sign up today!
