This module discusses the growing problem associated with heat waves and air qualities in urban enviornments. After reading through the scenario and using the additional resources provided, students complete investigations to further their understanding and consolidate their knowledge. The NASA Global Climate Change Education/Earth Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) modules include situations, connections to standards, resources and sample investigations. Unless labeled K-4 the modules can be adapted for middle and high school students.
