Health Promotion
Achieving a state of optimal health is often a goal for many individuals. Optimal health is more than the absence of disease. It is a balance of physical, emotional, social, spiritual and intellectual well-being. The balance of all these components is usually based on the principal of self-responsibility.
TakingITGlobal has therefore provided a space to learn and share knowledge on health during the month of May under the theme Health Promotion. As members participate through the various activities, challenges and contests they are fostering a supportive environment to facilitate lifestyle changes addressing region specific health related issues.
