Adding to: Extreme Weather Factsheet

Extreme weather has always been with us but climate change is expected to increase the frequency and severity of extreme weather—thus, we can no longer use the past as a guide to the future. All administrations in Canada, be they coastal villages, small municipalities or large urban centres, must recognize and respond to the challenge.

Canadian Climate Forum's 2013 factsheet, Extreme Weather, looks at recent extreme weather events and the impacts: destruction of crops, homes and infrastructure, lives threatened and social and economic disruption.
