Adding to: Carbon Monoxide: Its Environmental Impact

Carbon Monoxide: its environmental impact is a module that informs students on the natural and anthropogenic sources of carbon monoxide. Students will also learn about the effects of carbon monoxide and ways to limit the impact on the enviornment. After reading through the scenario and using the additional resources provided, students complete investigations to further their understanding and consolidate their knowledge. The list of investigations and their difficulty is listed below and can be found in the 'Carbon Monoxide: its enviornmental impact module' link.

 

The NASA Global Climate Change Education/Earth Science Education Alliance (ESSEA) modules include situations, connections to standards, resources and sample investigations. Unless labeled K-4 the modules can be adapted for middle and high school students.
