| Geographically Pakistan has four provinces, and each province has its own language, along with URDU as the national language, that has the inspirations from Arabic, Persian, Hindi, Spanish and Turkish. But English is the formal official language. Pakistanis are considered to be among the quickest learners of different languages. And alongwith other reasons one is that Pakistanis are very very Intelligent. And that is why the demand for Pakistani IT professionals is increasing drastically in the world. Pakistan is a developing country, with 70% rural population, literacy rate of 35%. It's basically an agricultural country with slow advancement towards industrialization, with the visible shift towards IT as a major sector for advancement. Now almost 50% of cities have access to Internet, meaning ISPs are there to provide service. Government is very progressive for exploring all the possibilities and has launched its IT Policy as well. That may be seen at http://www.itcomm.gov.pk. But a lot has to be done from the people themselves and specially the Youth. Since this is the only power that can gear-up the development of country. And we all believe that only this power can bring PEACE for the world may be by using the spirits of ICT that is making the world a global community, ignoring all the national boundaries, and segregation on the basis of color, sex and race and providing access to knowledge and equal opportunities for all, and I believe "TakingItGlobal" can be the golden beginning.
