Africa Christian Youths Development Foundation operates an International Volunteer Placement and Cultural Exchange program to provide exposure and opportunities for youths to interact across boundaries of culture, geography, faith and religion for the purpose of enhancing understanding and promoting global social consciousness through educational and cultural exchanges. By allowing youths to interact with and learn from youths and communities different from their own, the program helps to break down barriers, challenges myths and stereotypes and promotes community harmony as well as facilitates the development of positive relationships with others, understanding a range of perspectives and developing the understanding and skills needed for effective participation in our global society. The goal of the program is to create and foster a spirit of understanding among the peoples of the world.
