Culture is defined in terms of the “ideas, beliefs, customs and attitudes that are shared and accepted by people in a society”. In relation to the above topic, Our question will be, what are those ideas, beliefs, customs and attitudes do we have in Nigeria towards peace as a way of life and what role has Christian Religious Education played in the past, now in the present and will play in the future to enhance peace and its sustenance? Peace itself is not just the absence of conflict or war but beyond that, a “beneficent adjustment of harmony between the individual and his Creator on one side, and his fellow men on the other side”
