2011 has been a year of change. In 2011, we witnessed the events of ‘Arab Spring’ - a mass youth movement armed with the new found force of Internet technology and geared towards creating radical changes in the social-political fabric in the Middle East and Africa region (MENA). It was this inspiring mobilization of so many young individuals that led TakingITGlobal
and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in cooperation with Youth for Change (YFC) to hold a virtual live chat “Let’s talk revolution: a virtual panel with Arab youth” on May 28th, 2011.
