This document has been designed to report on the TakingITGlobal in Education (TIGed) pilot project which ran in a Grade 8 class at Macklin Public School,
Toronto, Canada from September 2003 to May 2004. The key initiative, a Film Festival, was coordinated in the classroom by several staff members of TakingITGlobal.
