Though I sit here
My thoughts wander
What does tomorrow hold
Will measure up
Did I prepare adequately

The appointed time is now
The examiner is...

To keep a date
with nature
Where destiny awaited
There they were
Two shimmering golden yellows
Each punctured by
a speck of nite
Seconds . . . minutes
They assumed form
Head . . . lips
Frontal mounds . . . limbs...

Always thoughy I was immune
Of course I am
Such things cant happen to me
But what if . . .
No!
She didn't look one
so spotless and beautiful
The clippers looked clean
I saw him wipe it
Hm mm . . . is that all?
