May 2009: The Global Economic Crunch: A Crisis?

The “global financial crisis” has been receiving lots of attention in the mainstream media lately, but there remains confusion about its nature: Is it a recession, a depression, a credit crunch or a self-correction of the market? In their house of justice we are denied the very fruit for which we labored:
Equal rights and privileges.
Oliver Twist Oliver Twist by Edionseri Endurance Omorogiuwa, United Kingdom
O my boy!
O my courageous boy!
You weren't wrong to ask for more.
In truth, you needed more,
But sometimes the rules are fixed.
Though cruel, for you they can't be bent.
