Power is not callous

Like that of a heartless barrel.
That destructively decimates
The populace of the human race
To make extinct of the rivals
Or trample over a thousand victims,
And gain glory over their graves.

Power is not callous,

Like a sword thirsting for blood.
That sucks the blood of the naive
And soaks its dry metallic body
Deprives them of their liberty
And limits their rights to life,
Like the fish barred from water.

Power is not callous,

Like a hungry spear
Hunting for human hearts.
a devourer of souls,
Seeking whom he may devour.
Gaining gloomy glory,
By suppressing and oppressing.

Power is not callous,

He who possessed a true power
Is he who grappled with authority
With the fists of charity.
To subject the others
Not to his own notoriety,
But to the power of nature.

Power is not callous.

The mass life, he secures.
The pauper’s needs, he provides.
For the good, he gives the ghost.
Like a spotless lamb for the sinful world.
Giving freedom to the captive.
Shattering the fettered fears.

Oh power! True power!
So indispensable to life;
Power to redeem,
Power to re-build.
He who possesses this
Possesses a true power.
