What I d like to tell about Russia?

Russia is a big country, half Asian and half European. Territorially Russia is bigger than the whole Europe. Those are some Russian physical features. I won’t tell you the long Russian history, because you can find it in books, but I will tell you about something that you can understand only if you live in Russia. I don t know how to make you understand Russia other then if I tell you my story. So here it starts...
Since childhood I was thinking about leaving Russia for another, more developed country, like Germany or America. Then, when I studied in the 9th grade, I became a finalist in the FSA FLEX program and went to America for a year as an exchange student. I’m not going to tell you about this great life experience, but I’ll tell you about its affects. Of course I grew up a lot and also I had something to compare with Russia. America is more developed and more democratic than Russia, but I love Russia as I can’t love any other country in the world, because Russia is my Homeland. And that year in the USA helped me to realize that. Though it seems easier for me to live in Colorado than in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, it’s more interesting for me to live in Russia rather than in any other country. I like to work and to overcome the challenges and that’s what I need to help Russia develop. Other countries, like the USA, don t need my help; they are done and people there live for themselves, while Russians live for Russia.
Russia attracts me like a piece of magnet; it s just a matching country for me to live. There are many things that I don’t like about Russia, like our politicians, but it’s one of those challenges that I have to overcome, one of those problems that I need to solve.
Do you understand me now? This life, my life, full of challenges and stories, that makes me live, can exist only in Russia, in a wonderful country, which is hard to describe, because it’s impossible to describe the soul of Russia.
I know that it s not 2 pages, but that’s all worth and that’s all I’d like to tell about Russia.
