The Book Begins!
So today i started reading the kite runner. It is actually a compelling story, likely the most interesting i ever had to read in class. I'm hoping to get at least halfway done it by Monday. I found it a little confusing in the part with kite fighting, so i researched it and found that the use two lines for the kite, one which has powdered glass... (read more)

An Athiest In the Woods
An Atheist in the Woods..... An atheist was walking through the woods. 'What majestic trees'! 'What powerful rivers'! 'What beautiful animals'! He said to himself. As he was walking alongside the river, he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. He turned to look. He saw a 7-foot grizzly bear charge towards him.... (read more)

A Solution For Stray Dogs
I am against neutering of animals. Who are we to decide about another animal's reproduction. But there are so many stray dogs on the streets. They thrive because of unchecked mating (ofcourse!) and on the waste on the streets. There have been many cases of children being attacked and killed by packs of dogs. Dogs can't hunt alone, but are highly... (read more)

Vegetarians 'avoid more cancers'
Vegetarians are generally less likely than meat eaters to develop cancer but this does not apply to all forms of the disease, a major study has found. The study involving 60,000 people found those who followed a vegetarian diet developed notably fewer cancers of the blood, bladder and stomach. But the apparently protective effect of... (read more)

How to be a good person?
Everybody wants to be a good person. Even people who are bad may think they are actually good. A person has a good side and bad side, and knowing the difference between good and bad is a start point to be in the right direction for the one. In my opinion, staying positive can make you a good person. If you believe that you can be good, then you... (read more)
