是什么激发了你？

I’m inspired by a quote “don’t ask what planet can do for you but ask yourselves what you can do to this planet”. That quote inspire me to do my best that I can do for everyone, environment and that all for the best of this planet. Because we'll live once and should do our best for all.

I think the biggest issue that currently I’m interested in is about environment. I’m from a vulnerable country hit by the environmental problem, Indonesia. Earthquake, tsunami, flood and almost everything happen here. Being born and raised in small village where the people depend on their farmland. I credit my initial involvement when I was kid working with my parents in farmland where we plant some tobaccos and coffee, and I’m learned that most people in my community had a really close connection to the environment. When I grow up, I’m interested in environmental economics and now it’s my time as student to increase my capacity and capability to master this subject.

In my perspective, a good leader is a leader that does their best to achieve and benefit everyone. Using their capacity, they will make someone listen to their wants and them not afraid of being different while that’s the best for all. A person that also listen to their people and always want to learn in their lifetime.

Last year, I finally met with TakingITGlobal team during COP15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. I met with Liam as head of delegates to COP15 and also doing Teleconference with other TakingITGlobal team in Toronto, Canada. It was my first time met up with you guys which is awesome. During COP15, I was one of TakingITGlobal delegates and that really help me in building connection among youth across the planet. This is really one of my best moments in my life and I hope for the next year, I’ll meet with another youth and also with another TakingITGlobal team. And about the project, TakingITGlobal also give me reference using the toolkit and other resources to fulfill my needs about environment issue.
