Peru is located in the west-central zone of South America (Latin America) near Brazil and Chile. It had a great past as the main territory of the ancient "Incan Empire", which was bigger than "Cesar’s Roman Empire". The great Emperor of this kingdom was "Pachacutec" who organized their territory in four regions called "Suyos" that’s the reason that this land was called "Tawantinsuyo" (Four-Suyos). Inca’s sights-to-see are: "Macchu Picchu" (Lost City of the Inca’s), "Saqsayhuaman" (an outstanding fortress), "Cuzco City" (Main City of the Empire), "Titicaca's Lake" (the lake where the first Incas arrived for conquer Cusco), "Nazca Lines" (out of earth enigmatic lines only viewed by airplane), "Pachacamac" (the main temple dedicated to the earth near Lima - City), "Kuelap" ( Great fortress of the Chachapoyas kingdom, near the Amazon region of Peru), "Lord of Sipan" (The best discovered king of America similar as Tutankhamen of Egypt - in the north region of Peru) "Incas trail" (4 days and 3 nights trekking from Ollantaytambo to Macchu Picchu) and "Choquequirao" (The last city of the last Inca "Manco Inca II" in the south side of Cuzco). Peruvian attractions are: Lima (Capital city of Peru and Main city of the Spanish Conquers in South America), Huaraz (Climbing and Andinism in the snowed Huascaran) Arequipa ( Colca Canyon the deepest canyon of the world), Iquitos (Main city of the Amazonian rainforest of Peru), Manu (Natural reserve in the rainforest of Madre de Dios river - the most biological diversity zone of the world) Chicama ( one of the best beaches for surfing - see Peruvians fishermen in their rustic and ancient past Incas surf tables called "Caballitos de totora" - "Totoras Horses") and lots of things to see and do as eating their superb cuisine - meals. Recommended Peruvian meals: "Ceviche" (an Incas sashimi made by fish, lemon juice and onions), "Lomo Saltado" ( pieces of meat with french fries, onions and tomatoes), "Aji de Gallina" (superb cream made by chicken, peanuts and a bit of chili accompanied with boiled potatoes), "Causa a la limeña" (a finest salt cake made by potato with a cream of shrimps, tuna and mayonnaise) "Chicha Morada" (an Incas beverage made by purple corn - not liquor) "Pisco Sour" (a delicious cocktail made by pisco and lemon) "Algarrobina" (another superb cocktail made by pisco, algarrobo honey and milk). Also recommended sodas: "Inca Kola" (national soda since 1916) and "Socosani" (Natural bottled water from the Andes) Desserts: All of these outstanding ("Arroz con leche", "Mazamorra Morada", "Suspiro a la limeña", "Souffle de Lucuma", Ice creams, etc.) Fruits: "Lucuma", "Cherimoya", "Mango", "Camu Camu", etc. Native Products for the world: Potatoes, Corn, Peanuts, Peruvian Chili, Suit potatoes, Maca, Uña de gato (Last two natural medical products the first is an Incan Viagra and the last for Cancer treatment) Languages: Spanish, Quechua (Andean people), Aymara (Titicaca's region) and amazonian dialects like shipibo, campa, etc. A lot of citizens speak English too.
