THANK YOU LORD
With the voice of the birds I will sing your praise
In the midst of the storm, my life you have raised
You brought me out of the desert where I graze
But now when I look at myself I will say I am amazed
This you did just because of your graze
Your mercy has seen me through the race
Without you I use to be a destitute
Lazing about without an attitude
But today all I have is my gratitude
My life was about to break-up
Each day I struggle to stay-up
But your call told me to wake-up
And today my life you have made-up
When I think of the stress
All in the midst of the press
How my life was turned like a dress
Lord, today I thank you for your address
My life use to be in pain
Swimming in the midst of the stain
Fighting with my all just to regain
But today you are my gain
When I was enveloped in shame
You brought an end to the game
Your calling brought me to fame
And today in you I have a name
I know my life may not be the best
It is only you that will guide me through the test
My life in you I know will never be a pest
But in you my soul will find rest
My life without you was a waste
Though I tried to live a life of taste
But in spite of all my haste
You plastered my life with your paste
There is no way I can myself express
But like my pen, my life you have impressed
In you I will never be distress
Though I lived in the midst of stress
Lord you are more than all to me
Even your death is just for me
You gave up your riches
So that I will fulfill your wishes
Lord from my heart of hearts
I say thank you
Let the whole earth join me today
To say thank you lord.
