| Poem for Susan Tony Alamo My glowing eyes reading “Alamo world newsletter” dampened My heart glowing with enjoyment, Enjoying the literature filled with Gospel spices when it caught: “Pastor Tony Alamo with his late wife Susan”. “So his wife has slept?” I questioned. The world could be funny! Yes, the world could be funny For such a blazing star, so chirpy, Illuminating like the morning sun, The first rising moon, the dewdrop on A day old vegetation to have Left this world-less cellar unripe. But what age shall a man die and he’s ripe? Susan’s call to the great beyond Is unavoidable to all living souls, Especially man whose soul goes To the Maker after the-made-dust dies, But joyous it is ‘she’s prepared in Christ’? Yes, Susan has gone. Yes, she has gone To where there is hope from where There is no hope. Yes, the usual way we ply Doesn’t mean the best. The best is THERE! Hoping to meet THERE when we hear The siren of the Trumpet very soon. It is not easy to miss a loved one, Let a lone losing one, but No one should get loss when S/he lost h/er invaluable. Taking heart is the best therapy When such omen like this comes. But in this heart there is regret She left when she’s needed most. But Susan Tony Alamo is THERE! Yes, she’s THERE! Yes, she is THERE in eternal glory. « return. |
