I actually wished someone would choose it, and that they’d kill it, and then its suffering would be over. I didn’t eat supper that night.
That multi layered ball, had been beating against my tummy and now it was ready to came out.
The crabs, the girl, the fish, they were trapped in a cage. In a cold cement cage, and I’d just visited them. I knew now, what the multi- layered ball was. It was all my feeling suppressed into an orb. I had felt to so angry, outraged, and useless. How can humans have no respect for animals, and children. Were the adults still human, where was there compassion, there humanity ? Children and animals are the most vulnerable , yet still no one cares, no one is standing up and speaking for them, and no one is listening. Its expectable to throw live things into a raging fire, the crab will burn and go to heaven, the fish will die and meet the crab, and the girl… she will just be thrown into another fire, and another, till she dies. Any place inhabited by humans, that are dead or alive, can never be perfect. And what about heaven…does it exist, because paradise certainly doesn’t.
