I like the way they look
sitting on a page
A thousand different meanings;
the wisdom of a sage

Each letter a small picture,
like an illustrated song,
Absorbing each new image
makes the imagination l o n g
For the newest incarnation,
Of an ancient artform

Flowing along a page,
it washes over me,
its beauty is a bath,
utterly cleansing me

My eyes slow down
the images start to stop,
In my head
I think
of the sadness
of a
