Doleful Memories Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

In the dark night, in the moon's shadow
Beside a lake near a green meadow

When the fields were dancing on the rhythm of the breeze
And with the beauty of moments time wanted to cease

A door to memories of past once more opened
And to that lifeless path heart again returned

Where once I tried to find my comfort
But by that comfort at last I was hurt

Where I went to search for joys & gay
But I was betrayed just midway

Left me alone with the gift of doleful memories
And the pain of deepest wounds and injuries

I AM SEHARALAM FROM PAKISTAN. MY POETRY IS BASED ON YOUTHS' FEELING. MY POETRY IS NOT CREATED BY ME BUT IT IS MY FEELING WHICH TRANSFORMS INTO WORDS THAT FORM A POEM. I'M 16 YEARS OLD. I STARTED WRITING POEMS WHEN I WAS 13. ONE MORE THING IS I COMPLETED MY MATRIC WITH AN 'A' GRADE. NOW I WANT TO STUDY FURTHER.
