His Plea For the one who wanted me to cry....

Baby girl won't you cry for me?
I need to see those tears
So you can belong with me

Baby girl, baby girl, why won't you cry?
Your tears have dried out
I may know why
But I'll shut my eyes
Nail my ears
And it shall be goodbye
Until you cry
Oh, baby girl cry!

I need to know you can feel
And that your emotions are real
For an old man, about to die
But baby girl, still you will not cry

Your tears have been dried
Your emotions cast aside
Engulfed in coldness with rising tide
Is it too late for me
To return by your side?

I wish you would cry
