The Overcomer Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

Environment   Poetry

Traveling to me, a hobby
Swimming to me, a play
Driving to me, a funny thing
Hunting and gaming to me, an adventure

My hobby I went celebrating
To a known land in the hands of unknown people
Tragedy though yet unknown
Dream vs. reality too it seems

It was robbery in daylight
Wonderful young men with rifles
Good enough to silence the writer
Unemployment at full scale and in action!

Happening with heads down
Yet the environmentalist is always aware
Being aware had been his life
They overcomed the passengers strength and me

It was impressingly terrible
But we overccame!
We were horribly stranded
Yet we overcame!

Hobbling can be an adventure
I realized that traveling is an adventure during advent
I tried to cry, weep, but no comforter
Because I told them I was an OVER-COMER!
