We also needed media events for the youth to be felt during the summit and many activities to inform the youth on what was happening.
Hellen also participated in several other events during her time in New York. Among others, she gave a wonderful speech at a reception hosted by the Global Youth Action Network where several UN officials and government delegates attended. She left everyone in the room impressed by the energy and passion of the youth of Africa, and we wish her the best of luck with her continued work for young people. Thanks, Hellen!
