The sun was still rising when he found himself seated in a lotus position side by side with other students on the rooftop of the Center. As he looked at their faces, he knew no one, but when he looked intently into their eyes, he knew that these were no new acquaintances...

There was silence as the guru stepped in. The only thing the group heard was the gasping breaths of each individual as the master found his way, facing all the members. The guru was alone when he entered, but there were the sounds of foot steps following the guru heard by the group. This was followed by a hissing sound, which seemed as if it was coming from nowhere. Indeed, the group felt that they are being watched by someone whose eyes they could not see.

The guru ordered the members to center themselves as they slowly closed their eyes. He asked that the group raise their hands, and then slowly bring them down as he counted from one to seven: all of the members were already in trance when the guru finished his counting.

Though the young student's eyes were closed, he knew for some reason, that there was a light penetrating through the top of his head. He felt it, and as this same light slowly reverberated inside his body, the student suddenly felt that all his burdens, suffering, and heartaches were taken from his shoulders. As the light circulates through his body, his arms can't help but move on their own accord. They sway and dance with the white light.

When the guru counted again from one to seven, the group was asked to return to their present state and slowly open their eyes. As the group opened their eyes, they felt much heat steaming from their bodies. The feeling was that of a person who has just awakened from a deep slumber.

A beautiful white butterfly touched the young student's head and lavishly flapped its soft wings. They were still looking at the pretty sight when all of a sudden the hissing sound, which was earlier heard, became louder, and then deafening. Their attention was caught by the entities of this sound, which then materialized in the sky. The group was surprised to see a swarm of dragonflies devilishly circling from above. It was as if these insects' refuge was burned and now, they were seeking revenge. They could sense, from the movement of the insects, that these things were ready to attack.

A face was formed from the blackness of the insects. It was the face of the guardian of Kalimasada, Shiva, the destroyer. The group knew for a fact that it was looking down at them: as if the guardian was trying to recognize who they were.

The Guru immediately called the attention of everyone and asked the group to bow their heads lower than their heart and say "Salaam" which means "Peace unto you".

As soon as they uttered these words, the insects slowly dispersed from the sky and proceeded south until the group could no longer see any more of them. It is as if, the entity entered a portal leading to somewhere which no man would ever want to find uncover. No dragonfly was left, and it was as if it never came.

This was the usual occurrence whenever the group performed the exercise without acknowledging its guardian, either intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes, He manifested himself as snakes, whenever they exercised in the lower ground. Other times, if insects, he manifested himself through birds.

After some days of being acquainted with the guardian of Kalimasada, the guru told the group that they were now ready to know more of the other guardians.

Not everyone was accepted by these guardians though. Either one of the members would get sick for some unknown reason, or worse; die a mysterious death. This happened to some, as the number of students decreased from the fourth; there were already only fourteen left.
There was a time when the young student unintentionally summoned a spirit. For some unknown reason, the name of the guardian just came out of his lips. From this word, it materialized through the student's desire: this happened when he started verbalizing an unfamiliar word that gave him the strength to accomplish more things. When he researched the internet, he found out who the guardian was. He was a Hindu God; Ashta was the eight heads of Lord Ganesh. Lord Ganesh looks like an elephant; this explains how he was able to do all things quite powerfully whenever he summoned him.

But like anything in this world, there is always some trade offs. More often than not, these are really expensive and sometimes it can cost an individual his life. The student tried summoning this spirit, even without the advice of his guru, so that he could once again have the courage to talk with the one he loves. The spirit did ensure that he was able to meet her; however, it was only after they went home that the girl noticed there was this entity following them. She was trembling when she told him about this, and the student was very afraid after this... Imagine summoning a guardian whose size is so enormous that it is bigger than a building. Imagine summoning not one, but eight guardians by just uttering one name.

The greatest fear is the thought that these guardians can remain even while you are sleeping. Scary indeed for the young student; but after a while, he never entertained this thought - he was just thankful that it was this same guardian that allowed him to reach her, though at first it seemed hopeless. Why should he fear something which gave him the opportunity, even if just for a while, to see her and tell her how much she means to him...

As a result of the student's desire, day by day, he forgot that there was a force greater than all the power of the guardians combined. He had forgotten to love. One day when he woke up, he could no longer remember her; he could not even utter her name …

The only thing the young student wants to do now is to fulfill his purpose; he knew that through the help of these guardians he would be able to accomplish his goals and perhaps someday...

At present, the student, with the help of his guru is summoning the dragon Rin. Two things might happen: either this same dragon consumes him, or he can take charge of this dragon. If he is able to do such, he can use that same dragon to summon the eight remaining guardians so that he can use their powers. However, if he is unsuccessful in controlling them, the tengu (ten-goo) will appear. Then... he dies.
