| I used to smile when the sun rose Cause I knew a new day of joy was born I used to smile at the sound of the birds That spoke of a peaceful morn I used to love the smell of the morning air So real, so free, it touched me I used to live in Joy... I used to. Now my fears break the nights fast As terror grips my days Safe no where at all At home, at school or on a bus... Each flight I take, Brings me far closer to the heavens Each breath I take I'm so unsure... My joyful days have been burnt away By your anger and your feats My smiles have turned around Now I'm plagued by your shame I have never met you But you've taken what I love most You've taken away my Joy Now I have nothing to pass on... « return. |
