A walk with Destiny Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

We were both walking
on that long road...
We were slowly walking when
I was telling her about my thoughts
and expectations about
life and future...
She was always listening
with that smile on her face
and without saying a word...
that didn't bother me at all
as her smile was so expressive
it already encourages me
to go on with my thoughts...

I once heard those words
by one of our intellectuals:
"Coincidences are arranging themselves
to be our destinies"
Could that be true??
Is destiny in its origin,
just a coincidence??
and there was always that smile
on her face,
she didn't agree
didn't refuse
She just wanted me to go on
with my thoughts

I have a friend who believes
that we make our own destinies
we choose it, and create it...
Our strong will designs
our destinies and goes for it...
Could that be true????
But she was always silent
Mmmm...I'd rather beleive this,
Since I was a child and I had
that strong feeling
that I'm gonna fly away,
that I'm not gonna be surrounded
with those people you see now,
maybe my destiny lies in there...
She was always smiling

She suddenly started to run,
so I ran as well
"What's going on?" I asked
but she did not reply
she's running faster
and I'm running faster as well
she's running faster and faster and fastest
I'm making a huge effort to catch up with her
and I can't even stop
cuz she's holding my hand,
she wants me to run,
run...
but not escape...
she's taking me to that thing that
I don't know
I cannot catch up with a lot of things,
I cannot understand a lot of feelings
I cannot think...
and when we reached the edge,
she stopped...
smiled
"Who are you?" I said
"My name is DESTINY."
