  Poetry

I really like him,
But I wouldn't dare,
Tell him in the face,
That’s why I stare,
At him when he isn't looking.
It hurts me so deep,
That the only time we are alone,
Is in my sleep.
I tried to hint that I’m into him,
but still nothing changed.
I always look my best,
so I can stand out from the rest,
when he is around,
and still nothing has changed.
I hang out and flirt with other guys,
hoping to make him jealous,
No, nothing changed.
The situation is hard to fix,
and I’m out of tricks.

Poetry, to me, is a way to express my deepest feelings and thoughts. Sometimes I can't tell others how I feel so I write it down. In the beginning my poetry mainly revolved around love and heartbreak but now (I think) I've matured and try to generalize my topics. Can't wait for your comments and feedback!

I don't think there's a teenage girl anywhere who can't relate to this message! :) You capture the feeling perfectly -- thank you for your poetry and please keep writing.
