| "There he is," passing by, My heart skips a beat, I sigh, I ask myself would he ever look my way, "Oh, there he goes," maybe not today. Maybe tomorrow he will, If I manage to stand still, But when I look in the mirror I see, Why he'd never look at me. Could I ever compete with the girls he talks to? Would I be able to make his dreams come true? I push those thoughts away so I don't feel blue, And start thinking of better things to do. It’s a sunny day as I sing along the way, I see him coming in the opposite direction, He comes closer and closer, He turns his head and looks Right through me! « return. |
