| In these Streets I was born Bound by my fears I must stay here To repay my Mother’s Sins In these Streets In these Streets I become The very thing I hate Imprisoned by fate Within the walls Of these Streets In these Streets I live Forced by my father’s Choices I breathe pain and uncertainty Limited by the margins Of these Streets So when you take a walk Down one of these streets And you see a child Eight, nine or ten… Just remember, They never had the choice So they must live In these Streets. « return. |
