And I began to see the truth that lies in our paths

The reality of pain is too much to bear

The bid to find a joy

It’s funny how we love
The things that matter only to us
It’s funny how much we want
Others to accept us
But the pain lingers on.
I have too much pain
When I think about the world today
And how much it’s gone wrong

When I see the Children
Who must lead tomorrow
Die from the pain they suffer today
I have too much pain
And as I lay to sleep
At the end of my day
I wonder
How can I help take the pain away?
