On the day I met you
I thought you going to ease my pain
But now you've added to the storms in my brain
And I never make any complaint
Because you may think am playing

I am lost of words
Because you're not in my world
I keep opening my door
Because I thought you going to bring your love
But I never see you through my door

You keep saying you love me
But maybe you making a jest of me
Because you never open your heart for me
And this going to give me a hearth attack

How do we get perfect?
When we’re not angels
Just don't want to let you put me aside
Because I don't want to step aside
Because I am sure you will one day need me by your side

Writer Profile
Adeyemi Adisa

When I examine myself, I see writing as the only way to express my thoughts and have been wasting no time, however little, in ensuring that I express myself. This is an inspirational thought, potentially instilled in each and everyone of us, but the ways we express ourselves is the difference. I hope to meaningfully make use of most of my time and positively share my thoughts with others. You can check out my site (www.yemmmmy.co.nr) for more of my articles and poems.
