  Poetry

For you I altered, re-arranged.
New friends made,
Old estranged.
I thinned, I perfumed, I groomed.
With all your wants
I was consumed.
For you I improved, I studied.
Your enemy’s noses I bloodied.
For you I smiled, I wept.
All desire, for you I kept.
I kept myself complete for you
And what exactly did you do?
Ran off with some fat, prat!
