  Poetry

Quiet as the Night invades,
The private lives of Stars
I shall invade your morning
And absolve your gaping scars

Brave as the boys walk
In the storm, on the street
I shall convey you to comfort
When at last we meet.

Loud as the lovers cry
By the fading light of Day
I shall feel your shoulder
And convince you to stay.

A thousand winters to Heaven
A thousand summers to Hell
A thousand men to the slaughter
A thousand tales to tell.

Like the White Rose
Enduring Black and Red,
We too shall endure
Long past we’re dead.

Blithe as the Gurus
In the morning sun
We too shall laugh
Until we become one.

Broken as the torches
Within the Holy flame
We shall cease to hurt,
To play our cruel game.

A thousand winters to Heaven
A thousand summers to Hell
A thousand brides deserted
A thousand tales to tell.

As Paradise never forgets
The passing evening song
I too shall not forget
Long after you’re gone.

Like Rain leaves no mark
Upon the mountain side
My body shall not scar
Your gentle pride.

Wry as Laws of Love
Etched in Open Sky
I shall etch my name
In Memory of your eye

A thousand winters to Heaven
A thousand summers to Hell
A thousand wars still un-fought,
A thousand tales to tell.

Gravel laden in the mist
His Grave calls your lust
I shall depart in the heat,
Alone through the dust.

Old as the stains
On photographs in keep
I stain your body
Before we fall to sleep.

Taut as the strings
Of your Violin
We too were taught
Smoke, Lime and Gin.

As Blindness forgives
The arrival of Sight
I too shall forgive
Wrongs of your Right.

As winter always endures
Thousand summers to Hell
We too shall endure
And then, live to tell.
