NTUU “KPI” location is close to Kyiv downtown. The University has 23 Academic buildings, 22 hostels (3 for married students), Sports Centre with swimming pool meeting Olympic standards, Library housing nearly 3 million volumes (Biggest Technical library of Ukraine), Culture Centre , kindergarten, dining halls and recreation facilities, Medical Centre, Health Centre, and cafeterias.
The university is also a popular scene for contemporary Ukrainian futurologists’ projects. Head of the National Security and Defence Counsel - Evhen Marchuk included NTUU into his «Sociopolis. New paradigm of progress» program with its consistent emphasis on the urgent necessity to provide the most -favoured regime for the national frontline scientific endeavour.
