If I have learned anything
I have learned
That the best classroom in the world
Is at the feet of the an elderly person

I have learned
That when you are in love it shows
I have learned
That you never say no to a gift from a child

I have learned
That it is those small daily happenings
That makes life so spectacular
I have learned
That under everyone’s shells
Is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved

I have learned
That background and circumstances may have influenced who I am
But I am responsible for whom I have become
I have learned
That to ignore the facts does not change the facts

I have learned
That love, not time heals wounds
I have learned that the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am

I have learned
That nobody is perfect until you fall in love
I have learned
That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain
But all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing it.

Learning

I like it. Learning is power. In Chinese there is a saying “pursuit of knowledge is an endless effort”. No learning no power, no learning, no knowledge. So we need to keep on learning whatsoever a circumstance.
