In the Hush of Dawn Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

  Poetry

There’s such pleasure and calmness
In the silence of the early morning
And comfort of a cozy, fire-lit room

There’s such quivering quality in the hush of dawn
When morning sunrays steal into the waning of clouds of night
And reveal the day’s beauty and let the night’s magic be bygone

In gentle majestic moments such as these
I greet the hush of dawn with yearning tenderness
And delightful dewy kisses

Then I rise and ascend to ecstatic heights above
As I feel whispering winds of joy upon my face
Reassured, I am glad I have known the peace of love
