I imagine a land
I imagine a land where brothas and sistas live in harmony
A land where all have dreams
And our dreams are all realized
I imagine a land where no one is ever stupid
To blemish the body, Godly temple of the son with drugs.
I imagine a land with no HIV and AIDS
I imagine a land where we indulge but with protection
A land of no sickness where poetry is a cure
A land with no potion, muti or impepo
I imagine a land without thugs to mug us
A land of no guns and criminals
I imagine a land where everybody values human life,
Life without killing and polluting
A land where I can walk out of the house without fear of
being angered
A land where we all live in mansions and food in abundance
Yes, A land with no shacks and poverty
A land of no high tax and corruption
I imagine a land without Bush killing the innocent
I imagine a land without Saddam being hunted
And tortured for weapons of mass distraction
A land without political intolerance
I imagine a land where all political movements are allies
With no differences but tolerance and clouds of love
majority
A land where all have choices and the freedom of speech
A land where imaginations don’t ever run dry
I imagine a land of love and happiness
Like the bible say
"Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth"
Let us all imagine this land
Will it be ever possible?
I imagine where...
"Even when the shadows fall,
No matter where the wind may blow..."
We will know where to go
And will never fall prey to the shadow of silence
I imagine a land where we are all having a good time
And the Lord Almighty is in heaven watching us partying
Knowing that we have seen the light and free of sin
Yes, I imagine this ideal land of milk and honey
Angels dancing kwasa to the beat from this land of harmony
Where heavy metal DJs play heavy gospel
Rejoicing in goodness
I imagine a land where Déjà vu poetry society and us form
No. 7 (Hola 7)
Am I only dreaming?
Or can we all imagine this land being right here
right here?

All things start from imagination. Without it we would not be where we are today (be it a bad thing or good). I believe for anyone to do anything well they have to be able to imagine the final outcome. Great poem, that reminds me of the importance of stepping back sometimes and imagine.
Demoracy And Freedom With Faith In God ROY JOSE | Jan 30th, 2005
Bush is a hero! Don't ever forget it! If it was not for the United States there would be no freedom in South Africa the Apartheid would still be in full force. Saddam was worse than the white african government was to black people there in South Africa during the Aparthied years. It took force, and the United States has done the right thing. Sometimes my friend sacrifice is in order to accomplish peace. Just like Jesus Christ had to sacrifice himself for peace for the world. Saddam was no good and had to be silenced. How can there be peace in the world like you wrote with these trouble makers always threatening it? He had 12 years to comply, but all he did was laugh at the U S A, and so with weapons of mass destruction or not it was the right thing to do. We tried sanctions like those imposed in South Africa when the apartheid was still in effect, thank God it worked and now the apartheid is over. Saddam was different, he ignored everything. Thank your lucky stars that the most powerful man on earth the United States President is a God fearing man and has a vision of a world with freedom and democracy through out the whole world, which is the recipe for peace, and some of the stuff that you imagine happening in Africa and in the world. Bush has not killed anything, all the blood of the innocent is on Saddam's hands, he started it all. So don't go against and go saying things like that against the USA, your liberator and the only one in the world trying to make those things you wish could happen, really happen!
Ok Friend, hope that you see the truth!
I was born and lived in South Africa from 1968 to 1979 before going to the United States.
I love my US President, and I know he is a great man.
I know how apartheid was, and how difficult it was for blacks. President Reagon brought down communism and helped end Apartheid in South Africa. Now Bush is doing the difficult task bring in an era of peace to me and to you my friend and some of those things you wrote about!
That's all! Take care!
Not Anti-Bush at all Khothatso Duncan Moeketse | Jul 13th, 2005
Probably I forgot a line about Saddaam torturing his people. Just understand that I am against anything that poses a threat to humanity. I might disagree with the decision by Bsh invading Iraq but I am NOT anti-western or anti-Bush either. He is a God fearing man in deed but I think he failed to exhausted other evenues to reach a solution. The truth finally came out that the allegation about the weapons of mass destruction was not at all true but just a way of attacking the Iraqis. Alteria motives.
Thanks for your honest review and rest assured I love AMERICANS.
We Must Understand And See Clearly For Peace To Come! ROY JOSE | Jul 15th, 2006
They recently found some weapons of mass destruction. And don't you think Saddam would hide the evidence as any criminal would if he knew the police was coming. There was nothing to be gained by attacking Iraqis as you say. 12 resolutions the UN passed, and Saddam kept taunting, don't you think that is enough avenues, and then we found out the U.N. was making secret deals with Saddam. Every American soldier and any from any other country there, Iraqi people living there and so on... any that died or will die... their blood is on Saddam's hands that is for sure! He still taunts and is defiant even behind bars.
