He Could Not Speak Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

  Poetry

He met, my friend
and made a sign.
I'll soon be back,
Don't you sigh.

Years of friendship
had passed together,
but a word from him
I had heard- never.

The fingers cast
the shadows on wall
and beautiful letters
said it all

Studies or play
be it any,
his silent actions
spoke to many

As we grew
the busy life had taken its toll.
He had to leave
to go abroad.

We still talk,
no words do we need,
because my heart reads
what his silence speaks
