A leaf amidst the forest, a boat amidst the ocean, a person amidst society...
With Love we were born, with Fear we were fed;
Survival, solitude, search... Fear accumulates, Love is forgotten.
Then, with every step, we go further; with every look back, we study our footprints:
Clear or muzzy, deep or shallow, close or far...
We have climbed, stopped, stumbled, ran, traveled, and lived.
We see it in our footprints - simple marks telling our lives.
The road of Life may have been high, low, flat, or bent...
But the marks of our feet show that we conquered it.
Soon we realize, no matter the condition of the path,
The essence is in the consistency of every step we take.
Then Fear suddenly fades, Love is relearned, and we keep on marching ahead...
But our hands start to reach out, our hearts open again,
And finally we fulfill our reason of birth, finally we understand our mission;
Us, one by one amidst all, we will.

Writer Profile
Tina Lee
Writing is my window. My feelings about words are best described through this quote by Emily Dickinson: "I know nothing in the world that has as much power as a word. Sometimes I write one, and I look at it, until it begins to shine."
Lift a pen to a paper, and discover the unknown.

That was wonderful, and unfathomably true. Just one question, is muzzy really a word?
