Graveyard Stores. Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION
by Reality, Nigeria Mar 25, 2004
Environment   Poetry

Look yonder no more for the treasure,
For in silence it lies waiting,
Lying waste for lack of use,
Perhaps for more years it would wait,

Until man decides to look within,
For that he sets sail to search,
The treasure may forever elude him.
Unless he decides to tap his potentials.

For that is where the treasure lies,
Or he may die with it.
Thus increasing the graveyard stores,
The highest treasure store.

For there in silence lies,
Untapped potentials that looked without,
For that, that lay within them
Thereby enriching the graveyard.

I come alive when I write and the feeling that those few lines may impact positively on a soul unknown to me or even elicit a smile makes it a worthwhile endeavour.
