Friday of the future Printable Version PRINTABLE VERSION

On Monday of last week
Your roof came falling
The cracks and leaks
You did not repair
You blamed the rain

On Tuesday of last week
The flies came buzzing
The plates of suya
You left unwashed
You blamed the suya remnants

On Wednesday of last week
Your foot went bleeding
The jagged bottles of wine
Were left lying fallow
You blamed the alcoholics

On Thursday of last week
Your body went feverish
The sore foot you abandoned
Was starting to haunt you around
You blamed your busy schedule

On Friday of the future
Your skin will go pale
The fever you ignored
Will turn into a 'symptom'
And slow death will come knocking
Who will you blame?
