develop my village in every small way. Initially I only saw the drawbacks of my village but never made an effort to solve it. 'Swades' was surely an eye-opener for me. I have realized that I am not an outsider to that village; it is my home. I should not run away from its problems but should tackle them instead. I no more view my village as a place I would hate to go. The next time my vacation comes and my father asks me “Where do you want to go?” I ponder for a second and blurt “I want to go to my village this time!” We'll have a good time hiking.
