Happiness comes from doing, not merely from possessing; it’s a state of mind. Thanks to our great ability of controlling our own minds we can be happy no matter what our circumstances are. Happiness is created within us, by us, and does not come from any external factors. Take control of your mind…be happy.

Humor: The journey of success can be long and exhausting and humor makes it light on the heart. It’s keeps the traveler entertained and prepared to take on more challenges as it washes the scares of the past away. A traveler should take his trip seriously but not himself.

Friendship: Why do people usually like their friends more than their families?…because they choose their friends but not their families. Friendship is the ultimate relationship and by making friendships of all our relationships we create the greatest rapport with others. When we treat families, coworkers, bosses, teachers and even strangers as friends, we build the best of relationships. Be a friend, start by smiling.

Leadership: Everyone can be a leader by inspiring, encouraging, and helping others transform their lives. It’s great to make our own dreams come true, but it’s greater to pull others with us in the same time, especially those we care most about…our friends.

Simplicity:
By simplicity is meant clearing our lives of all clutter and doing only what really matters. Simplicity is to avoid getting caught in thoughts and activities that have no impact on us. When we eliminate all that is not necessary, we can focus on what is most important, and therefore we can do and achieve more.

Peace of mind goes hand in hand with simplicity. When we clear our minds of all the clutter we encounter in this info-maniac world we can think purposefully. Our minds are our most valuable possession and to preserve them we need to keep all worries away and fill them with positive thoughts.

Change: Everything around us changes, and the only constant is change itself. The faster we adapt, the better are our chances of getting ahead. Not only we should embrace the unpredictable, but also we must take part in creating this change ... in our lives and in the lives of others.

Vision: Can a hit man secure a target if he can't see it? Of course not! Vision gives us a sense of direction. Having vision is having goals that orient us towards doing the right thing in order to be successful. When setting goals do like real winners…keep pushing the finish line.

Success: Success is a journey, not a destination. Success lies in doing the things that bring us closer to the goals we envisioned, not only in reaching them. It’s also very personal; only you can determine whether you are successful or not.

Innovation: Using your creativity to change your life makes it more interesting. Your Mind can take you places if you let it wonder freely. Innovation makes you stay ahead of the status quo, because by implementing your creative ideas you make the future.

While vision gives us the direction we are heading for, determination keeps us on track. The road to a good life isn't trouble-free and being determined gives us the force to overcome the setbacks on our journey. Remember:” you never fail until you give up".

Courage: Having courage is being able to face our fears; they can be very damaging if not tamed. Having courage is having the confidence and belief in ourselves that we can be successful, that nothing is out of our reach and that the sky isn’t the limit.

Efficiency: Creating the life we dream of requires the use of many resources that we either have or need to acquire. It's vital to use the resources we already have wisely and avoid waste at any cost, especially by keeping our bodies in good health and managing time effectively. Secondly, it’s crucial to develop the ability of procuring the resources we don’t have, especially finding the people who care about us and who are willing to help.Knowing that you are making advancements builds up your confidence and enforces your determination, especially for long-term goals. Even if you have not attained your goals yet, make sure you are getting closer to your destination until the day you really make it. From time to time, stop to see how far you’ve come and learn how you can go faster and achieve your goals in less time.

Learning: Everyday is a great opportunity to learn something new, to freshen our minds. Every lesson life gives us should be seized and used to improve our destiny.

What lots of people call “mistakes” are the best lessons we can get; there are no failures but learning opportunities. We need to learn from all possible sources…books, elders, youngsters, schools, and most importantly from ourselves by trusting our instincts…they can do us wonders.

Wish you all the best,

Sid.
